SECOND WEEK OF THE EXERCISES

Incarnation

Presenter: Carole Bridges

I am originally from Canada, have lived throughout the US growing up, before finally settling in Maine almost 50 years ago. I have been blessed with 2 sons, 2 daughters-in-law and 6 beautiful grandchildren. I have been in health care for 46 years, 23 of those years as an educator teaching nursing and health sciences. The beach is my favorite prayer space, but it's also a beloved place with my family, especially the kiddos. I have experienced God's love and presence not only in my family and friends, but also in my horses, dogs, cats and a hermit crab named Norton. After years of hospital ministry, I was invited to experience the Ignatian Exercises at Manresa Way in Kennebunk . The experience was life changing for me, both in my spirituality and my relationship with God. One of the most important callings in my life was to become a Pilgrim Companion and a Spiritual Director. I am so grateful for the opportunity and invitation to accompany other pilgrims in that Sacred place and on that Holy ground, as we all navigate our way in relationship with the Holy One.

Theme: The Word Was Made Flesh
Desire: A deep-felt knowledge of how God has chosen to fulfill the dream of God's heart through Jesus' conception and an intimate knowledge of the Trinity's deep desires for ourselves and our planet.
