Session 30 The Contemplation For The Love of God
.
This Week's Presenter: Belinda Lynch
Belinda's bio-
I live in a spiritual community by the sea in Ocean Park, Maine. Families have been summering here with their children for generations. I have 3 grown up children. My daughters are both entrepreneurs and own their own businesses. My son is a helicopter pilot. He flies life flights for Air EVAC LifeTeam. I am also blessed with eight amazing grandchildren. I am a “foodie” and passionate cook and baker. I started baking with my grandmother “Nanny” as soon as I could stand on a chair. My job was to shake the donuts in a brown paper bag filled with sugar. I also remember dragging a chair up to the stove and making scrambled eggs- I think I had adult supervision?
I graduated with a BS in Accounting from the University of Southern Maine and became a CPA. I also hold an MST from Bentley College. I made the Retreat in Daily Life with Manresa Way and stayed to be formed as a Certified Prayer Guide for the Spiritual Exercises. In 2017 I earned a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from Spiritual Direction Internship Initiative (SDII). Now I am an adjunct instructor for SDII. I am a spiritual director and am honored to serve as a guest spiritual director at Eastern Point Retreat House. However, my heart is Manresa Way where I am a co-facilitator and Pilgrim Companion for the 19th Annotation of the Spiritual Exercises.
